Petrol, Slovenia’s leading energy company, is the principal strategic supplier of oil and other energy products to the Slovenian market.

CHALLENGE

Petrol has the aim to be digital leader in the region and runs more than 20 strategic digital projects. Sales and Marketing needs very fast support for their future challenges supported by digital transformation. This needs a business driven approach which disrupt the previous exhibit. All at all, organisation has to be prepared to promote marketing projects in the digital portfolio landscape and get the needed solution in budget and on time.

RESULT

Organisational empowerment of marketing and sales allowed taking over the leadership and RFP process of digital marketing and sales. Strategic decisions were prepared by CRM Team and made determined with Management Board. The evaluation process was transparent and led to one solution decision and implementation plan with fixed criteria (requirements, 8 month duration and fixed budget). Through an –open eyes approach (connection to other projects) CRM project became on of the most important digital initiatives at Petrol.
